Our Story

The Dev Spot was created from a simple observation: there are very few spaces in the UK where actors can develop holistically, consistently and affordably.

There are classes, degrees, short courses and online coaches promising a formula for success. But acting careers are rarely built through shortcuts. They are built over years, through sustained development, evolving craft and a clearer understanding of where you are going.

So we set out to create something different.

The idea was simple: focused, one-to-one coaching where the actor and their individual development sits at the centre of the work.

No two actors are the same they have differing strengths, ambitions, experience and obstacles. That means no two development plans should look the same.

Every client we work with receives an approach shaped around their needs, whether that means strengthening performance technique, developing self-tapes, refining materials, building industry strategy or creating greater clarity around the next stage of their career.
